8 of the best places for barbecue in Las Vegas — PHOTOS

When it comes to barbecue (or BBQ or bar-b-que or whatever other spelling you prefer) in Las Vegas, locals are extremely loyal to just a couple of spots —Rollin’ Smoke and John Road Kill Grill.

We asked our Facebook fans to lay down the law on the best barbeque in the valley and overwhelmingly the responses favored those two. Who was the winner? Rollin’ Smoke Barbeque at 3185 S Highland Dr. The close second was the Road Kill Grill at John Mull’s Meats on Thom Boulevard near Gowan Road and Decatur Boulevard.

Rollin’ Smoke began as a food truck before moving into their main location, and they’ve been confirmed as a tenant in downtown’s Pawn Plaza.

Lucille’s Smokehouse, a chain out of California, was also a favorite. They have two Las Vegas locations — in Henderson and in Red Rock Casino.

Most of the people who put in their vote went family-owned and local with the two top responses as well as TC’s Rib Crib near Desert Breeze Park and Billy’s in the southwest valley.

Newcomer Pot Liquor C.A.S. (winner of Best of Las Vegas’ Best BBQ honor) also got some love.
