Les Kincaid, host of the syndicated wine show “Wines Du Jour,” plans to host the class Light Vegetarian Meals from 6 to 8:30 p.m. March 10 and 17 at Ferguson Enterprises, 4175 S. Grand Canyon Drive. The cost is $109 for both sessions.

The class Exploring Wine Sensory is planned from 6 to 8:30 p.m. March 18 and 25 at Total Wine & More in Boca Park, 730 S. Rampart Blvd. The cost is $109 for both sessions. Participants must be 21 or older.

HONEY SALT PLANS MARCH 16 FARM TABLE DINNER

Honey Salt, 1031 S. Rampart Blvd., plans to host its next Farm Table dinner March 16. The menu will feature traditional Irish fare combined with Honey Salt’s take on classic dishes, with Irish beverage pairings.

SOUTH POINT ANNOUNCES ST. PATRICK’S DAY DINING SPECIALS

The Coronado Cafe at the South Point, 9777 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to offer special menus for St. Patrick’s Day for $8.95 per person. The first menu features Guinness-marinated sirloin steak, eggs, boxty potato cakes and Irish soda bread and is available from 7 to 11 a.m. March 17. The second menu offers O’Flaherty’s split pea soup or a dinner salad, accompanied by corned beef and cabbage with broiled potatoes and carrots, and is available from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Drink specials include $3 bottles of Guinness and $2 Bailey’s Irish cream shots with coffee from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Garden Buffet plans to offer special menu items for breakfast, lunch and dinner March 17, including corned beef and cabbage, lamb shanks braised with Guinness and Paddy’s Irish lamb stew.

ARIZONA CHARLIE’S PLANS MARCH DINING SPECIALS

Arizona Charlie’s Boulder, 4575 Boulder Highway, plans to offer a St. Patrick’s Day special from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. March 17 in the Sourdough Cafe. It will feature corned beef and cabbage served with boiled red potatoes and creamy mustard sauce for $7.99 with an ace I PLAY card and $8.88 without a card.

A St. Patrick’s Day menu is planned for the Wild West Buffet, including Irish lamb stew, shepherd’s pie, bangers and mash, beer-battered cod, braised cabbage and special desserts. Lunch is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and dinner is from 4 to 8 p.m. Red, green and orange card members pay $6.99 for lunch, blue members pay $8.39 and those without a card pay $9.32. Dinner is $9.99 for red, green and orange card members, $11.99 for blue members and $13.32 without a card.

The Yukon Grille plans to offer a three-course steak au poivre special for $18.99 with a card and $21.10 without a card from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday through April 30.

Arizona Charlie’s Decatur, 740 S. Decatur Blvd., plans to offer the Triple Selection special from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday in Ron’s Steakhouse for $24.99 with a card and $27.77 without a card. It features entree choices of 6-ounce prime dry-aged filet mignon, 14-ounce prime rib, chicken piccata or rainbow trout.

A pot roast and pie special is $9.99 with a card and $11.10 without a card from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at the Sourdough Cafe.

BELLAGIO ANNOUNCES CULINARY CLASSROOM LINEUP

Bellagio executive chef Edmund Wong plans to host the Executive Chef’s Culinary Classroom, a series of interactive, two-hour cooking classes through Nov. 10. Wong and his culinary team will share ideas and techniques as they guide guests through the steps to creating a three-course meal. Classes will be held in the resort’s demonstration kitchen, Tuscany Kitchen.

The schedule is: Dim Sum and Noodles, March 19; Tequila and Tacos, April 30; Healthy Gourmet, May 26; Backyard Patio Grilling, June 30; Learning to Roll … Sushi and Rolls, July 23; Back to School, Aug. 27; Cupcakes & Cocktails, Sept. 29; Octoberfest, Oct. 13; and Harvesting Thanksgiving 2.0, Nov. 10.

EVENT TO HONOR LEGENDARY CHEF ANDRE ROCHAT MARCH 29

A special menu is planned for an event set to honor legendary Las Vegas chef Andre Rochat at 5:30 p.m. March 29 at Andre’s Restaurant & Lounge at the Monte Carlo, 3770 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Rochat will celebrate 35 years in Las Vegas in 2015. A team of chefs plan to create a one-night-only menu, showcasing the talents of each chef. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails are planned at 5:30 p.m., to be followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Ticket proceeds will benefit the nonprofit James Beard Foundation.

KATE’S KORNER ADDS NEW MENU ITEMS AT SOUTH POINT

Kate’s Korner at the South Point, 9777 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has added smoothies and new ice cream creations to its menu. The Health Morning smoothie has blueberry, strawberry, oatmeal, protein powder and nonfat vanilla yogurt, while the Green Machine features spinach, kale, banana, mango and orange juice. Smoothies are 24 ounces and cost $4.75.

UNLVINO EVENTS SET FOR APRIL 16-18

UNLVino events are scheduled for April 16-18 to raise scholarship funds for UNLV’s William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration. Along with tastings, entertainment is planned, including musicians Frankie Moreno and Franks & Deans. Hospitality leaders will be recognized with the Dom Perignon Award of Excellence.
