Ethel M teams up with the High Roller for chocolate treats in the sky

Chocoholics who maintain that chocolate makes the world go ‘round can feel at least a little vindicated by the latest offering by the High Roller, the 550-foot observation wheel at The Linq on the Strip: chocolate tastings in the sky.

Beginning Sept. 1, the High Roller and Ethel M Chocolates of Henderson are teaming up to offer the in-cabin Chocolate Tasting Experience.

While the wheel goes around, which takes 30 minutes, participants will be served five pieces of chocolate and learn from a “chocolatier ambassador” about the origin and creation of chocolate, while being encouraged to focus on the aroma, taste and texture of each piece. They also get a voucher for a glass of wine, which can be picked up in the Sky Lounge before boarding.

Tastings, which begin from 5 to 8 p.m. each Thursday, are an additional $15 to the $52 general admission. Private cabins for 15 guests are $1,500. Call 702-322-0593.
