Great Craft Festival plans weekend stop at Cashman

The 26th annual Great Craft Festival returns this weekend to Cashman Center Exhibit Hall, 850 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

More than 200 exhibitors from throughout the United States will sell their work during the festival that runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $8 general admission, $7 for seniors and free for children ages 17 and younger.

The festival does not allow mass produced, imported or commercial items to be sold, and insists all work featured for sale and display must be created by the artist in the booth.

Craft categories include jewelry, pottery, leather, woodwork, fiber, glass, sculpture, toys, fine art and weaving. A variety of food and beverages also will be available for sale during the event.

Entertainment will be provided by The Jackstraws Musical Revue on the main stage, along with Sue Palmer and Motel Swing.
