How to make Penn & Teller go broke

Penn & Teller are once more promising to match donors’ dollar-for-dollar during AFANlv.org’s annual AIDS Walk, as long as those donors raise at least $250 each.

Theoretically, you could raise enough money to make them go broke, although none of us wants that to happen. However, it’s a fun/totally stupid thought experiment for a good cause.

Penn & Teller will serve as grand marshals for AIDS Walk, their 14th year walking the walk, which starts at 7:30 a.m. April 19 at Town Square, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for rent, utilities, health, nutrition and other help for people in need.

Emcee Bryan Chan (a great host, FYI) will be joined by cast from “Steve Wynn’s Showstoppers,” “Le Reve,” Mark Shunock from “Rock of Ages,” Melody Sweets, DJ Axis, Las Vegas Kaminari Taiko Drummers, painter Juan Muniz, and even some local Zumba instructors have signed up to do pre-walk warm-ups for people.
