Miss Asian Las Vegas pageant returns to the Venetian
A mark of the Asian-American community’s growth in Las Vegas is the return of the Miss Asian Las Vegas pageant at the Venetian in August.
So on today’s Doug Elfman Show, I talked with the woman who started the pageant just three years ago, Annie Chang Evans, and her husband Tom Evans, a marketing guru at the Hard Rock Hotel.
The couple is a successful dayclub-romance: They met at Tao Beach. And she says running a pageant has changed her ideas about women, sort of.
