Galindo to perform at Rock ‘n Roll Wine event

Grammy Award nominee Gustavo Galindo will perform when Rock 'n Roll Wine presents its next signature wine tasting 7 p.m. Saturday in Ovation at Green Valley Ranch Resort, 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway, Henderson.

Nominated for Best Latin Rock Album, Galindo also has performed at both the Rock 'n Roll Wine Tasting Room & Sound Bar at the M Resort and at the 2011 Wine Amplified Festival.

Galindo's sound is a combination of traditional and contemporary Mexican and American styles. He writes and performs both in English and Spanish. He has performed on bills with acts such as Enrique Iglesias and Los Amigos Invisibles .

Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door . Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.rocknrollwine.com or by calling 240-3066. Participants must be 21 years of age or older to attend. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the wine tasting will take place until 10 p.m.
