Jane’s Addiction bringing whole lot of ‘Nothing’ to Linq

In May, Jane’s Addiction made the walls sweat at a sold-out three-night stand at Brooklyn Bowl.

During each show, they played their first studio album, 1988’s “Nothing’s Shocking,” in its entirety, a record that’s aged as well as these dudes have, judging by the always-on-display ab muscles of singer Perry Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro, two men with a personal vendetta against chest covering fabrics.

“Shocking,” which the band will revisit once again this weekend, remains an alt-rock touchstone, heavy, weird and oversexed, with Farrell giving lusty voice to his desire to be as big as an ocean.

If nothing else, his libido certainly attained those dimensions.
