It’s all about jamming when Mountain Crest gets together. The loose-knit group of musicians plans to meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at the Mountain Crest Neighborhood Community Center, 4701 N. Durango Drive. They play mostly country and bluegrass songs. It’s not for money but rather just for the fun of it.
Tickets for the Burning Man festival in Northern Nevada will soon go on sale, and some veteran participants complain the new prices are too steep. Organizers of the art and music festival announced Friday that an allotment of 51,000 individual tickets will be available for $380 each.
