Ricky Martin to launch next tour in Las Vegas
If fans of international pop star Ricky Martin want to brag about seeing him first, they’ll have to book a room on Sept. 15.
Planet Hollywood Resort’s Axis theater will host the first date of the “One World Tour,” which will belatedly support Tuesday’s release of his new album, “A Quien Quiera Escuchar.”
The 20 of Martin’s tour dates are promoted by Live Nation, which conveniently took over the 7,000-seat theater at Planet Hollywood Resort in 2014, and books other shows around flagship tenant Britney Spears.
Martin’s tour will wrap in Orlando on Oct. 25. Tickets for all dates go on sale Feb. 20 at livenation.com.
Back in 2001, Martin’s management was involved in a Mandalay Bay dud called “Storm,” which was described as a Ricky Martin show without Ricky Martin.
