This week’s 5 best bets for Vegas entertainment

David Cook

If your bucket list is to see all 15 “American Idol” winners, you can cross two of them off this weekend. Start with David Cook, the nice-guy rocker from Season 7, who sings at 8 p.m. Friday inside Club Madrid at Sunset Station. Tickets are $22 to $42; call 800-745-3000.

Fantasia & Anthony Hamilton

This weekend’s “American Idol” road also leads to a Sunday team-up of Season 3 winner Fantasia (Barrino) and Anthony Hamilton, who has a new album, “What I’m Feelin’.” Fantasia is likely to serve up her new single “No Time for It” in the co-bill at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Hard Rock Hotel. Tickets are $89.50 to $175; call 888-929-7849.

‘I Love the ’70s’

Sure there are people who would listen to Ambrosia play the whole “Somewhere I’ve Never Traveled” album. But we — cough, they — realize most people just want the four big hits. Same with Firefall’s five Top 40 hits and the three from Orleans. Makes sense to roll all three bell-bottom soft-rock bands together for a show called “I Love the ’70s” at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Club at the Cannery. Tickets are $24.95 to $49.95; call 702-507-5700.

Richard Elliot

Soulful saxophonist Richard Elliot has been playing for Las Vegas locals for half of his life, if you trace the 56-year-old back to a 1990 show at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park and bygone clubs such as Calamity Jayne’s. He returns at 8 p.m. Saturday at Aliante Casino in North Las Vegas. Tickets are $43.93 to $76.63; call 702-692-7777.

Jennifer Lopez

The J-Lo show is called “All I Have,” but an alternative title could be “All I Am.” You meet the Swarovski fashion diva, the working mom, the Dancing Machine from the Block and more in the colorful production show that returns to Planet Hollywood at 9 p.m. Sunday and Wednesday, continuing on select days through June 10. Tickets are $59 to $416; 855-234-7469.
