Come for the teen angst and romance.

Seriously, stay. Because the absurdity of having the well-respected “You Raise Me Up” vocalist wander through scenes as a character named Dirty Dave is the only thing that truly stands out in “Happyland” (11 p.m. Wednesday, MTV).

The behind-the-scenes look at a theme park should be fertile ground for a teen dramedy, yet very little resonates.

At least not in the way cult favorites “Death Valley” and “I Just Want My Pants Back” did.

But MTV quickly canceled them.

Meanwhile, “Teen Mom 2” lives.
