99 Words About … The machismo of ‘Strike Back’

Cinemax. It's not just for soft-core porn anymore.

"Strike Back" (10 p.m. Fridays), the channel's first original series without a randy pizza-delivery guy, features a washed-out U.S. Special Forces operative -- who sounds Australian, but whatever -- teaming with an elite, globe-hopping, terrorist-butchering British military unit.

It's like a cross between "24" and most any Jean-Claude Van Damme movie -- if Jack Bauer routinely took time out to boink lady terrorists.

With its plentiful F-bombs, real bombs and general badassery, it's dripping with so much testosterone, just watching it will make you grow a beard.

On your foot.
