99 Words About … The triumphant end of ’30 Rock’

Blerg!

As its remarkable seven-season run comes to an end, we come to praise "30 Rock" (8 p.m. today, KSNV-TV, Channel 3), not to bury it.

The perfect TV show about TV, "30 Rock" alternately celebrated and ridiculed the medium.

Unlike other critical darlings, it survived long enough to become an afterthought before righting itself with this triumphant victory lap.

The jam-packed-with-genius episodes contained enough jokes to reward - if not require - multiple viewings.

Which should comfort fans who, to paraphrase Tracy Jordan, loved it so much they wanted to take it behind a middle school and get it pregnant.
