Bring a pair of tennis shoes for donation to the Assistance League to help fill the racks at Operation School Bell with back-to-school sneakers for boys and girls. Brighton's Best: Brighton will donate 10 percent of the sales from its limited edition bracelet Saturday to the Nevada Cancer Institute. The local Brighton stores will host a Pink Party the same day with food and beverages.

Chic Charity: Renowned shoe designers Donald J. Pliner and Lisa Pliner present their fall collection at a special cocktail reception to benefit the Southern Nevada Chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Donald J. Pliner at the Forum Shops at Caesars.

Go Galleria: The Galleria at Sunset participates in Back in the Swing Therapy Week Oct. 11-17 to help raise awareness of post-treatment care for breast cancer survivors. To participate, shoppers buy a Back in the Swing shopping card for $5, which is donated. Then, they can load it up to $500 with discounts at participating restaurants and stores through the week.

Gunn Slinger: Style expert Tim Gunn will be at the Forum Shops at Caesars Saturday as he hosts the fall 2010 fashion show on behalf of Lucky Brand Jeans. Lighten Up: Elegant Lighting has opened a new showroom inside the Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center Las Vegas. The specialty lighting store brings even more design diversity to Las Vegas for designers and shoppers. Frugal Fashion: H&M is collaborating with Lanvin, one of the most influential brands of the 21st century. The line of womenswear and menswear will be designed by Lanvin's artistic director Alber Elbaz and launches Nov. 20.

Crystal Clear: Crystals at CityCenter will open several fashion favorites this fall, including a three-level, 21,000-square-foot Prada store, Vegas' first Stella McCartney and Donna Karan boutiques, Emilio Pucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, Balenciaga and Harry Winston.

What Suits You: For one day only, Nov. 12, United Way's Women's Leadership Council will collect gently used suits and professional attire to be donated to local area shelters and nonprofits that assist women in need. Drive-through donations can be made in the United Way parking lot on 1660 E. Flamingo Road.
