Vegas Stripped: Devotion pulled them through homelessness — VIDEO

Victor Gillins and his wife Delores were homeless this time last year.

The worst part about their being homeless wasn’t the lack of food or lack of shelter, but that every day from 5pm until morning Delores slept at a womens’ shelter. The separation and the anxiety hurt them both. They exist in this world as a pair. A solid, spiritually linked pair.

Delores has a slew of medical issues, from seizures to strokes. Despite her fragile health, in their worst of times, she brought them back up to carry on.

Victor got a job at the Cosmopolitan earlier this year, through the VA Administration and the Cosmo’s Supporting Our Veterans program. He loves his job, and loves his life. Some people stay lost forever, he says, but through his wife, he’s found a new life.
