2 injured in crash at US 95-Charleston intersection

Two people were injured after a crash at the intersection of U.S Highway 95 and Charleston Boulevard, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.

The two people were expected to survive but the extent of their injuries wasn’t immediately known, NHP trooper Chelsea Stuenkel said.

First responders were called at 8 a.m to the intersection, NHP said.

The people were taken to University Medical Center with injuries not believed to be life-threatening, Stuenkel said.

One eastbound lane on Charleston was blocked by NHP, Stuenkel said.
