March 7, 2015 - 4:04 pm
A fight between two homeless men downtown led to a stabbing that landed both of them in the hospital Saturday afternoon, Las Vegas police said.
Officers were called to 733 N. Veterans Memorial Drive, near Bonanza Road and Main Street, about 12:45 p.m., Metro Lt. George Warner said.
A man, 37, stabbed a 29-year-old at least once with a kitchen knife in retaliation for an earlier fight in which the attacker had been injured, Warner said.
It wasn’t immediately clear how the assailant was injured, but both were expected to survive at University Medical Center, Warner said.
Police were still investigating the stabbing and no arrests had been reported by 3 p.m.
