Three adults and two children were displaced Monday night after a fire at their central valley home.
The fire started about 9:48 p.m. in the kitchen of the 2000 Mariposa Ave. home, near Sahara and Eastern avenues, Tim Szymanski, Las Vegas Fire Department spokesman, said.
No one was injured, but Southern Nevada Red Cross is helping the displaced family. It’s unclear what started the fire or how much damage it caused.
