The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested a man wanted in Alabama by the Dothan Police Department in North Las Vegas on Thursday afternoon.
Kamal Russaw, 35, faces two counts of attempted murder stemming from an incident in which police said Russaw and three others got into a fight and shot at each other. Russaw is the last of the four suspects to be arrested, according to a release from the U.S. Marshals’ Nevada office.
Marshals tracked Russaw to North Las Vegas and arrested him in the vicinity of West Ann Road and Clayton Street. He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and will be extradited to Alabama.
“This is yet another example of how our joint agency efforts are apprehending fugitives who think they can hide in the valley,” District of Nevada U.S. Marshal Christopher Hoye said.
