Car hits man in Venetian garage and takes off

A man was hospitalized Monday after being struck by a vehicle in the Venetian parking garage, according to Las Vegas police. The driver didn’t stop.

It happened just after 12:30 p.m. when an employee at the resort, at 3355 Las Vegas Boulevard South, reported someone had been hit and couldn’t stand up, police said.

The man was taken to St.Rose Dominican Hospital, San Martin campus with a leg injury, police said.

Metro is investigating this as a hit and run. Police did not immediately have a description of the car.
