Coroner identifies inmate who died at Henderson jail
The man who died while being held at the Henderson Detention Center early November was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office on Tuesday.
Howard Roy Gentry, 48, was taken to the detention center on a parole and probation hold on Nov. 4. He suffered a medical episode on Nov. 5, Henderson spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said. Paramedics were unable to revive Gentry, who weigh over 400 pounds.
His cause of death was not released by the coroner on Tuesday.
