There won't be any surprises when eating at China Joe's. Here is regular Chinese-American food the way it's supposed to be made and taste. No surprises and no MSG. A list of vegetarian dishes includes vegetable chop suey, snow peas with water chestnuts, moo shu vegetables, sautéed vegetables with tofu and vegetable chow mein. Other entrees are teriyaki chicken, shrimp with snow peas, sweet and sour chicken, Kung Pao shrimp, orange beef, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, almond chicken, pork in hot garlic sauce, beef pepper steak, and the hot and spicy General Tso's chicken. China Joe's chow mein is made with crispy noodles. Other noodle dishes are chicken, pork or beef lo mein, and fried rice favorites can be made with barbecue pork, shrimp, vegetables, chicken or shrimp. Among the appetizers are pot stickers, egg rolls, fried chicken wings and barbecue spare ribs. There is egg foo yong (plain, mushroom, pork, chicken), spicy pad Thai, teriyaki and curry bowls served with steamed rice, egg drop soup, wonton soup and chicken corn creamy soup. Joe's features all day express meals and house specials served with fried rice and lo mein noodles. Entrees begin at $4.75. China Joe's is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. -- Jack Bulavsky
