Some taverns have a limited and plain menu. There’s nothing plain at Remedy’s, beginning with appetizers such as beer-battered onion rings, street tacos, Pretzel Bites, chicken quesadilla, Mashed Potato Bites, avocado egg rolls and jumbo stuffed chicken potato skins. Popular entrees, served with salad or soup, include beer-braised boneless short ribs, grilled petite filet, penne chicken pasta, grilled Atlantic salmon with rice pilaf and grilled asparagus and beef tenderloin tips with mashed potatoes. Breakfast entrees include breakfast sliders, build-your-own three-egg breakfast burrito or omelet, buttermilk biscuits and gravy, pancakes or two eggs with country fried steak, sausage patties or 8-ounce burger with hash browns and toast. There are USDA choice ground chuck hamburgers, salads (grilled steak, chicken fajita, chef’s chopped, seared ahi), chili with cornbread, wraps and sandwiches including turkey club, Monte Cristo, New York Reuben, South Philly cheese steak and meatball sub on steak roll. Among the desserts are fried banana fritters in whiskey caramel sauce, chocolate brownie sundae and Remedy’s bread pudding, where brioche bread is baked with custard, brown sugar and candied pecans and topped with vanilla ice cream and maple-amaretto sauce. Entrees start at $11.99, and appetizers begin at $3.99. Remedy’s is open 24/7.
