Dining Pick of the Week: Taco Taco Mexican Eatery

If you're going to do or make something, be sure it's done right. And the tacos and burritos being made at Taco Taco are done right ---- very right. Served on corn tortillas, the tacos are topped with onion, cilantro and salsa and can be made with chicken, beef, cesos (beef brain), lengua (tongue), marinated pork, cabeza (beef cheek), buche (pork stomach) and tripe. A Gran Taco has cheese, beans, pico de gallo and sour cream. Select a meat for your burrito, which is topped with cheese, rice, beans, cilantro, onion, pico de gallo and sour cream. A bowl is like a burrito but without the tortilla. Vegetarians can order a taco, a burrito or a bowl with grilled red and yellow peppers, purple onion, cheese, black beans, sour cream, pico de gallo, salsa and guacamole. Among the extra choices are corn on the cob, chips and guacamole, and fries. The kid's menu has a single corn taco with a side of rice or a flour cheese quesadilla with rice and beans. Enjoy the assorted condiments (radishes, carrots) to complete your meal. Tacos start at $2, and bowls begin at $6.25. Taco Taco Mexican Eatery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. - Jack Bulavsky
