Jessica Wolf, 17, is expected to graduate with honors from Southwest Career and Technical Academy as part of the first four-year class to graduate.

Wolf is in the respiratory therapy program and is president of the Health Occupations Students of America club, of which she has been elected post secondary vice president for the state.

She competed in the H.O.S.A. Nevada State competition, held March 18-20 in Reno, and won gold for the community emergency response team.

She is scheduled to go to Nashville, Tenn., this summer to compete and represent Nevada at the national competition.

Wolf has been accepted to the nursing program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

She is the daughter of Lance and Susan Wolf of Las Vegas.

Nicholas Lambert, 17, has achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America.

A member of Troop 99, he built planter boxes and painted a storage building at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral School for his Eagle project.

Lambert is a senior at Bishop Gorman High School, where he plays varsity lacrosse and is involved in student government.

He is the son of William and Allison Lambert of Las Vegas.

Jake Smith, 15, has achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America.

A member of Troop 238, Jake cleaned headstones and flower vases at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City for his Eagle project.

Jake is a student at Del Sol High School, where he is a member of the Key Club, varsity bowling team and DECA, an international association for marketing students.

He enjoys social media and bowling in his spare time.

Jake is the son of Wayne and Michelle Smith of Las Vegas.

Xavier Villalobos, 18, has achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America.

A member of Troop 370, Villalobos cleaned graves at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City for his Eagle project.

A senior at Southeast Career and Technical Academy, Villalobos enjoys swimming and computers in his spare time.

Villalobos is the son of Marcelo and Elsa Villalobos of Las Vegas.

Julio Benito Abelon has graduated from basic military training at Air Force Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, in San Antonio.

A 2010 graduate of Southeast Career and Technical Academy, Abelon is the son of Norma Jean Abelon of North Las Vegas.

Michael Lasater has graduated from basic military training at Air Force Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.

Lasater earned distinction as an honor graduate. A 2010 graduate of Coronado High School, Lasater is the son of Elana Klanian of Henderson.
