The Clark County coroner’s office has identified Alexander Kuckenbecker, 19, as the man who died Thursday after crashing into a light pole at Charleston Boulevard and Hualapai Way in the west valley.
Kuckenbecker was speeding in a 1992 BMW sedan when he lost control and crashed, splitting the car in two, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of Kuckenbecker’s death was blunt force trauma, and his death was ruled an accident, the coroner’s office said.
