A drug overdose killed a man whose body was found on a sidewalk near the Stratosphere in August, the Clark County coroner's office said Monday.

The death of James Donald Segrest, 48, residence unknown, has been ruled an accident, the coroner said. Other contributing factors included hyperthermia, dehydration and other illnesses.

Segrest was found Aug. 19 near the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and St. Louis Avenue, Las Vegas police said.
