Body found near cove south of Lake Mead, officials say

Services for Monsignor Patrick Leary, CEO of Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 Cathedral Way, in Las Vegas.

According to the Clark County coroner's office, the 63-year-old died from heart failure, including a ruptured aorta, on Dec. 8.

In a written statement, Father Bob Stoeckig, vicar general of the Diocese of Las Vegas, said cathedral seating will be limited and there will be other opportunities to honor Leary's life in the coming months.
