McCullough Vista Park opened on Saturday at 990 Greenway Road in Henderson.
A ceremony at 8 a.m. brought out dignitaries including Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen.
The park sits on approximately six acres and includes a lighted basketball court, playground, covered picnic areas, barbecues, bike repair station, multi-use fields, interpretive signage and an observation deck, according to a City of Henderson news release.
“We worked closely with this neighborhood to include park amenities that are important to them,” said Mayor Andy Hafen. “The neighbors watched in anticipation as the park was being built and we are excited to celebrate the official opening with the families of this community.”
