House fire displaces six people in northeastern valley

A house fire late Wednesday night has displaced six people, the Clark County Fire Department said.

In a statement, the Clark County Fire Department said it responded at 11:37 p.m. to a house fire at 3775 Clear Lake Court, near North Pecos Road and East Gowan Road. Responders found the home, a single-story, single-family residence, on fire.

"Firefighters made an offensive attack on the fire and reported that the home was evacuated," Clark County Fire Department said.

Six adults were displaced by the fire, the department said. No one was injured. The fire's cause remains under investigation; its damage has not been evaluated.

The Red Cross was called to help the residents displaced by the fire, Deputy Fire Chief Jeff Buchanan said.

No further details were immediately available.
