Las Vegas man accidentally shoots himself in the leg

Las Vegas police responded Wednesday to an accidental shooting in the south valley.
A man accidentally fired his weapon and hit his leg just after 4:30 p.m. in the 4400 block of Arville Street, south of Flamingo Road, according to Metro spokesman Officer Larry Hadfield.
He was taken to University Medical Center with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, Hadfield said.
