Las Vegas man indentified in Wednesday shooting death
The man who was shot and killed in the northeast valley Wednesday afternoon was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office on Friday.
Christopher Dewayne Jones Jr., 24, of Las Vegas, was shot at an apartment at 1750 Marion Drive, near North Nellis Boulevard and East Owens Avenue, Las Vegas police said. He died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police are looking for 21-year-old Anishya Douglas in connection with the homicide, police said.
Douglas is an African-American woman with short hair who stands about 5 foot 3 inches, homicide detective Lt. Ray Steiber said. She was described as wearing baggy clothes.
Douglas fled the scene and is considered armed and dangerous, Steiber said.
