A man was arrested Tuesday in connection with the robbery of a U.S. Bank in Henderson.
Police found Michael Haley, 32, hiding behind a shed in the rear of a house near Warm Springs Road and Valley Verde Drive. He was arrested Tuesday night, just two hours after the robbery, in a joint effort from the Henderson Police Department and Metro.
Haley entered the U.S. Bank at 4550 E. Sunset Road about 5 p.m. He demanded money from one of the bank tellers, was given an undisclosed amount of money and then fled on foot, police said in a release Wednesday.
Henderson police, K-9 units, Metro police and Metro air support tracked Haley to the shed where he was apprehended. No one was injured during the robbery or arrest.
Henderson Police have charged Haley with robbery with a deadly weapon and burglary, according to the release. Additional charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues, police said.
