Man injured in apartment fire in southeast Las Vegas

A man was hospitalized following an apartment fire in the southeast valley on Sunday, the Clark County Fire Department said.

Firefighters responded about 12:45 p.m. to an apartment complex at 3110 E. Flamingo Road, near McLeod Drive, according to the department’s alarm site.

The man, 40 to 50 years old, was found unconscious on a couch, said Deputy Chief Roy Session, CCFD spokesman. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

There were not many details on the man’s injuries, but they were not considered critical, Session said Sunday afternoon.
