Patrol officers were sent to a home in the 600 block of South 11th Street, near Charleston Boulevard, just before 1 a.m., police said. A man was found dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Homicide detectives’ initial investigation indicated the man was shot inside an apartment by an unknown suspect or suspects, who left before police arrived.

The victim’s identity will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office after his family has been notified.
Additional information was not immediately available.
