A 50-year-old man killed in a motorcycle-pedestrian crash in the central valley earlier in the month was identified by the Clark County coroner's office as Jose Pena-Gomez.

The Aug. 1 crash also killed the motorcyclist, 23-year-old David Ivan Ramey, Metro said.

First responders were called shortly after midnight to the intersection of Eastern and Canosa avenues, police said. Ramey was travelling south on Eastern and crashed the motorcycle into Pena-Gomez who was crossing the street.

Police accuse the DUI suspect of speeding “well above” the 45 mph limit on Buffalo Drive and Peacock Avenue when the crash occurred at 10:38 p.m. Sunday.
