Man shot in head Friday has died, Las Vegas police say

A man found in the central valley Friday with a gunshot wound to the head has died, according to Las Vegas police.

Metro also asked for the public's help Tuesday in identifying three people they say are linked to the shooting.

Officers were called about 6:30 p.m. Friday to the Pine Hills Lodge Apartments, 1500 Karen Ave., near Maryland Parkway. There, they found the wounded man.

He was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in critical condition, police said. He later died.

The Clark County coroner's office will release his identity and official cause and manner of death.

The shooting happened after argument that in an apartment, police said.

Las Vegas police on Tuesday released surveillance video and descriptions of the three people they say were involved. That includes:

• A man in his 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and a red "Bulls" hat.

• A woman in her 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black tank top, ripped jeans and a green cloth wrapped around her hair.

• An older male teen, likely 16 to 18 years old, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black "Lake Lions" T-shirt with straight, shoulder-length hair.

This is Metro's 65th homicide investigation for 2015.
