Man shot, wounded at hotel near Strip
A man was hospitalized after a shooting Friday morning at a Super 8 motel near the Strip, Las Vegas police said.
The shooting happened about 5 a.m. in the hotel lobby at 4250 Koval Lane, near Flamingo Road. An early investigation shows that a man was shot once by another man, Metro Lt. George Warner said.
The wounded man was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. The extent of his injuries was not immediately known, Warner said.
The shooter is not in custody, he said.
It’s unclear what the motive was and the investigation is ongoing, he said.
