Man who died 2 weeks after being struck by Jeep identified

The Clark County coroner's office has identified a man who died about two weeks after being struck by an SUV on Eastern Avenue near Fremont Street.
Roberto Salinas, 39, died Thursday from his injuries sustained on Nov. 20, Las Vegas police said.
Salinas was crossing North Eastern, near East Fremont, about 6:30 p.m. when he was hit by a Jeep Grand Cherokee, police said. He was outside of a crosswalk.
Salinas was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The Jeep's occupants, who stayed at the scene, were not injured, police said.
