Metro asks public to help identify ‘persons of interest’ in bar robbery

Las Vegas police are looking for two men who may be connected to an armed robber who stole cash from a southeast valley bar late January.

The men were in the bar before the robbery and appeared to hold the door open for the masked robber in surveillance footage.

The robbery happened about 2:30 a.m. at the Magoo's bar at 2585 E. Flamingo Road, near the Eastern Avenue intersection, dispatch records show. Police are asking the public to help identify the two men pictured from the footage, who arrived in a dark, four-door sedan.

The robber the men held the door for was described as male. He was wearing a red mask so police were not sure of his race, but he was about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and about 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark jacket, dark pants and was armed with a semiautomatic handgun when police said he robbed the bar at gunpoint.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Metropolitan Police Department at 702-828-3855 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
