Police are seeking the public's help in locating a missing 12-year-old girl who may have run away to California.

Alanna Milan Walker left her home in the 2700 block of Fremont Street on Monday morning about 6 a.m. wearing a flower print tank-top and stretch pants.

Alanna's family had moved to Las Vegas from Lakeview Terrace, Calif. Police said chat records indicated she was talking with a person on Facebook claiming to be a high school boy in Van Nuys, Calif.

Anyone with information should contact the Las Vegas police missing persons unit at 828-3111 or 828-5678.

Shooting on I-11 sends one person to hospital
