Motorcyclist injured in Sahara collision near Rancho

At least one person is hospitalized and part of Sahara Avenue is closed after a crash Friday evening in the central valley, according to Las Vegas police.
Officers were called just before 7:30 p.m. to a vehicle-versus-motorcycle crash at the intersection of Sahara and Richfield Boulevard, west of Rancho Drive, Metro Lt. Michael Mauntel said.
The motorcyclist was taken to University Medical Center with unknown injuries, Mauntel said.
Eastbound Sahara is shut down near Richfield.
It was not immediately clear if anyone else was injured in the crash.
