Motorcyclist who died in Henderson crash identified
The Clark County coroner Saturday identified the man who crashed his motorcycle into a concrete barrier in Henderson on Friday afternoon and fell 18 feet.
Nicholas Thomas, 71, of Henderson, was traveling north on Stephanie Street, north of Russell Road, about 3:45 p.m., Henderson police spokeswoman Michelle French said.
When Thomas failed to make a turn, he crashed into a concrete barrier construction wall, French said. Thomas then flipped over the barrier and fell 18 feet to the ground, she said.
Thomas was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center , where he later died.
Officers investigation shows that speed and alcohol are factors in the crash, French said.
