One person was hospitalized Friday morning after a vehicle crash in the northwest valley, Las Vegas police said.

Two cars crashed in the middle of the Lake Mead Boulevard and Tenaya Way intersection about 8:31 p.m., police said.

The victim, who was taken to University Medical Center, suffered noncritical injuries, police said.

Additional details of the crash were not immediately available.
