Northwest valley crash sends 3 to hospital

Three people were taken to area hospitals after a sedan and a "medical coach" collided in the northwest valley Tuesday morning, police say.
The crash happened about 11:45 a.m. in the intersection of Lone Mountain and Durango roads, Metro officer Laura Meltzer said.
Two people were taken to University Medical Center and one to Centennial Hills Hospital, officer Michael Rodriguez said.
The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
