Pedestrian, 68, struck, killed by van near Desert Inn and Mohave
A 68-yer-old man died Friday morning after being hit by a van near the intersection of Desert Inn and Mojave roads, Las Vegas police said.
First responders were called about 6:45 a.m. to the 3200 block of Desert Inn, police said. A 2004 Ford Econoline 250 van driven by a 43-year-old man was turning onto Desert Inn from a driveway exit when it hit the pedestrian, who was crossing on a sidewalk across the driveway.
The pedestrian died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, police said. He will be identified by the Clark County coroner's office.
The van's driver was cooperating with investigators.
