A pedestrian was killed Friday night after being struck by a vehicle, Metro confirmed.
The central valley collision occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Spring Mountain Road and Stober Boulevard.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle initially left the scene, but returned shortly after, police said.
Police are investigating whether alcohol was a factor in the collision.
