Police find body by billboard in southern Las Vegas Valley

Las Vegas police found a dead woman near a billboard near Interstate 15 and Southern Highlands Monday afternoon.
The woman’s body was found in the desert by billboard workers about 1:30 p.m., Metro Lt. Jeff Goodwin said.
Metro officers and the Clark County coroner reported to the scene, he said.
The coroner ruled the death as a natural death, Goodwin said.
The coroner will release the identity of the woman once her family has been notified.
