Police investigating after man shot dead in North Las Vegas
North Las Vegas police are investigating after a man was fatally shot Wednesday night.
Officers responded to a home the 4800 block of Glowing Garnet Street, near North Bruce Street and East Lone Mountain Road, just before 5 p.m., according to department spokesman Officer Aaron Patty.
Police found a 45-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound lying in the garage of the home, Patty said. The man, who did not live at the home, died at an area hospital.
Officers were speaking to a "person of interest" just before 8 p.m., Patty said. Police don't believe anyone else was involved in the shooting.
